English-to-Chinese input method, ec input™ for short, is developed to make inputting Chinese character easier by providing a real-time translation. Unlike common input methods on your computer, ec input is a web-based system, it has the advantages of cross-platform and can be accessed anywhere and anytime.

With ec input mode, you can simply type an English word and corresponding Chinese phrases will be listed below the word.
To switch modes, press Tab. You can press the up and down arrow key to choose the suitable phrase and press space to confirm. You can also use the number keys to directly choose the words 1 - 9 and 0 for the last word.
There may be several pages of words, the switch between pages, press Page Up or Page Down.
After you finished typing, simply press Ctrl + A to select all text in the text box, then press Ctrl + C to copy the text.

This is a very early release of the system, improvements will be made in near future. Should you have any suggestions, please feel free to contact the developer.
The word list we are using is generated from an online dictionary, some of the files are fragmented with unnecessary information. If you come across a list with unsuitable data, please kindly edit it for us by enabling the editing mode. You can also add a new entry to our wordlist too! Thank you very much.
